I knew when I received that phone call from Raven saying she wanted to celebrate her birthday with a portrait session of her with her dogs, I was in! I was even more on board when she said she had planned to wear this beautiful dress and she was working with a makeup artist. I could not have been more excited for this shoot.

It was important for her to capture great photos and the love her and her pets obviously share for each other.

Of course, like all clients, she was nervous her dogs wouldn’t cooperate and they wouldn’t get any great images. (Don’t worry, plenty of secrets to get those shots). I just needed her to trust me and the process. She did and we had an amazing summer shoot out at Pickeringon Ponds which is now one of of my favorite new locations.

One of her favorite parts was coming in and seeing all of her beautiful finished images! It’s always a nice surprise, especially with a dog session. You almost forget all the images we shot! She has a beautiful Metal Wall Print of her and both dogs as well as a gorgeous portrait box filled with all of her favorites!

What a beautiful way to display and show off your session, but also to have some gorgeous keepsakes of your pets that are so special to you.
