German Village-What an amazing place for a photo session! I absolutely loved working with this couple and their boy Stan. Stan is a rescue from Franklin County Shelter. Sadly, he had been adopted and returned several times before Alyssa and Joe found him and took him home. They are head over heels for this guy and it’s no lie, Stan is hands down living the dream.

Joe contacted me one day to book the session as a surprise for Alyssa. We booked it and planned it for several months out when the weather was nice. I laughed at him because he literally held the secret for less than an hour before blurting out that he did it! OMG hilarious! But that’s ok—I wanted her to be super excited too.

They came in to do their session planning and brought Stan with. I was head over heels for him, the moment I met him. Our session was super chill and laid back, exploring around German Village. I’m so happy for them, that they decided to do this. I think memories of our pets that bring us so much happiness are sooo important. I’m grateful that they chose me to capture those memories for them.
