I recently had the best time capturing the adorable Chester and his sister Lily, along with their awesome owners, Betsey and Steve, right here in Dublin. Chester, who’s been dealing with some heart issues and just rang in his 12th birthday, showed off his unstoppable spirit. This shoot was all about celebrating life and the incredible love these two dogs share, not only between them, but their loving parents! They're practically glued together and their playful antics had us all laughing and enjoying every moment. 

The day of the session couldn't have been more perfect. The weather graced us with the most beautiful day and set the stage for a very relaxed session which are all important elements of each session. They were so easy to work with and up for anything. I always like to structure my dog sessions more like playdates. This keeps the dogs much more engaged and less stress on the owners. They are just there doing what they do most naturally, and I'm just there to capture it all!

This was one of those sessions that everything just aligned perfectly and exactly why I love what I do so much!

I think we captured the perfect combination of images, from individual, to soulful, to  natural images with their parents and everything in between. We designed a beautiful wall portrait and a stunning Art Book with all of their favorite images that they can enjoy for a lifetime and hold their memories so close. 

For all the dog lovers out there watching your pups grow older or perhaps face their own health challenges, these moments are a poignant reminder of the precious time we have with them.

It was so evident the affection that both Betsey and Steve have for Lily and Chester and it inspires me. I am so grateful to have been part of capturing these timeless moments.

These portraits are more than just images; they are truly a celebration of the unbreakable bonds that we share with our dogs and what they bring to our lives. xoxo
