Murphy at the Tree Farm

Give me rows of evergreens, that holiday sparkle in the air, and a dog like Murphy,  and you’ve got yourself a session that just works. Eva and Ethan brought their pup out to a Christmas tree farm in Columbus, and it was nonstop energy from the moment we got started.

Here’s the wild part: I photographed Eva’s senior pictures ten years ago. Getting her, Ethan, and Murphy in front of my camera now felt like the ultimate full-circle moment.

Murphy Running the Show

If you know, you know,  dogs always run the session. Murphy owned this shoot with his funny faces full of expression, playful energy, and snuggles in between. From sprinting between the trees to relaxing with Eva and Ethan, he made every frame better.

The Tree Farm Vibe

This Christmas tree farm nailed the backdrop. Think festive, clean, and totally unique,  not your standard park or backyard. It gave us space to move, play, and capture images that feel fresh and different. And yes, I’m already planning to shoot here again because the results were that good.
